6 cell plus Ultra bay or 9 cell?

#1 Post by alpuzz » Sun Jul 17, 2005 9:07 pm

Just curious how these two scenarios compare in terms of battery life:
1. the standard 6 cell battery plus the ultrabay battery.
2. The 9 cell battery with no secondary battery.
in other words, if I were to add an ultrabay battery to supplement my current 6 cell, would I equal the capacity I would gain by just having the 9 cell?

Thanks,

the ultrabay battery is a 9 cell I believe...so you would get more out of adding an ultrabay. At least the ultrabay battery for my T23 is 9 cell and last 4~4.5 hours by itself.

Nope the T-series has the ultra slim ultrabay, and the battery I think is a 4-cell battery. Its about 25 watt hours, which is about half the standard six cell battery so you get about a little more than 2 hours out of it. So you can get around 6 to 6.5 hours under reasonable load.
