Hello everyone,

Bought my first PC (I have 3 Macs!).. very nice, but the video is a bit lacking. I opted for the T43 because of price, but I sure would like to have the T43p's V3200 128MB video.. can you upgrade this? Any help would be great.

Sorry, but the T4x video is not upgradable. The graphics processor is soldered onto the system board. What video processor does you T43 have?
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!

ATI 64MB... no too shabby, but not a 128MB or Go 256...

The X300 is decent, I hope that's what the OP has and not the integrated. But as mentioned you won't be upgrading it like you can on some Dells, Alienwares, etc. If you wanted better graphics power, you would have had to order it in the first place.

Most laptops don't allow you to upgrade this anyway (powerbooks and ibooks are just like the IBM in this regard I believe).
X31, T43p (on sale soon I think :( ), T400
