Just Ordered My T43p

#1 Post by jeffman12 » Mon Jul 18, 2005 9:14 pm

YESS! :D I finally ordered my T43P for school, a 2668G5U T43p from Euclid. I was told 7-10 business days until it ships, but we will see about that. I can't wait!

I don't know why people are complaining about noise, mine is pretty quiet (maybe I got lucky). I haven’t noticed any dead pixels on my screen.

I love the build quality; it feels so solid in my hands. The keyboard blows my old Dell Inspiron 5100 right out of the water. The included software is pretty useful, such as the ability to setup different network setting for different areas and then switch between them without having to adjust any settings. The finger print scanner is also neat and makes logging in very quick. I just finished reformatting the hard drive to get back the hidden IBM partion. I followed this guide (http://www.4saad.com/WhatsNew/Fresh_XP_ ... /index.htm). Make sure you really read carefully when it comes to getting the corporate key out of the preinstalled windows.
