I noticed that my T41 has a short heatsink that does not cover GPU.
I have W98 installed on it and was gonna play some games for a few hours but I wonder if it will put the system at risk.
T42 and T43 has much bigger heatsink that covers both CPU and GPU so what gives?
Does the GPU on T41 run so cold that it requires no cooling?

With the original box and documentation : 600, 380XD, 385XD, X24, X30(10th Anniv), T42p, T43, R52, W700ds
Without : 385XD, 600X, 770X, W701, T420, T430, T520, X230
Not working & for parts : At least a dozen
Other laptops : Dell, Alienware, Lenovo

Having seen a T42 with a short heatsink die of GPU overheat, I recommend getting a long heatsink for your T41.

does the long fan(T42, T43) fit on T41?

I used the Longfan with my T41. Its much quieter and I guess more cooler, because the Heatsink covers also the GPU
