Anyone know why a white arrow is on the top of the Thinkpad?

I noticed this on my T43, and it is probably on other models. A small white triangle on the middle-rear on the LCD cover. If anything, it should be right over the power connector, so you can guide it in without looking at the back of the laptop. Why is it there?

To be aligned with the opposite arrow in a docking station.

I think it is used to align the notebook on the docking station. My mini dock has that triangle too. Unfortunately my thinkpad does not have one.

If you purchased it new there should have been two of them on a peel-off so you could install one on older systems.
