What is EZServ? Worth upgrade?

I am currently under the so called EZServ warranty, but I am not sure what exactly it is, and is it worth upgrade?
Current: T43P-2687D5U: P-M 2G, 2G RAM, FireGL V3200 128M, 80G 5400 RPM(Will be 100G 7K100 when 2010 gone!), 15' UXGA, Multi Burner, Intel A/B/G, Bluetooth, 9 Cell, Fingerprint Reader, WinXP Pro

If I'm not mistaken, EZServ is where you ship your laptop to a service center for repairs. It can be worth an upgrade depending on how fast you need service. If it were your only computer, and it was critical that you have your laptop repaired ASAP, you might want to get onsite protection. Onsite is the one where a IBM service tech comes to your office/home to fix whatever is broken.

Thanks. So what is that "Thinkpad Protection"?

BTW -- always get the longest warranty you can afford, as you can't add on years later on, and it's worth keeping your Thinkpad for 4+ years.
