Hello,
I have a T23 2648-4PU, and I recall reading it's possible to have internal wireless? Just wondering if this is correct, and how I go about installing the card? (Also, Is it true that installing this kills the good 'ol 56k?)
Thanks,
Toe

My 2373-4mu has built in wireless and a 56k modem and an ethernet connection. So it is possible to have all three. You should be able to get a wifi/56k modem mini pci card and just swap it for your present modem.
I think the most problem you will have is with the antennae. The wireless equipped T23's have a different LCD housing which is a little thicker and has room for the antennae. There also is a ridged place on each side of the display. That ridged piece is a plastic insert that fills up a hole in the metal housing for the wireless signal to be able get through better.
Surely you can find some sort of antennae setup which does not require replacing the entire LCD housing.

Flip your T23 over and there are two removable covers on the bottom.
The small on towards the front is the memory cover and the larger on in the middle of the T23 is the mini pci cover. They both are held on by one screw. Remove the screw and lift up the mini pci cover, there you will see two cards. The smaller one is the ethernet card and the larger one is the modem/wireless card.
The Hardware Maintenance Manual is your best guide here:

As for the card itself, I suppose ebay would be the best bet.
