The opposite view of everyone else

Well.. I prefer 15" FlexView screen. True, the 14" form factor is excellent but the viewing angle of the 15" screens are more useful to me. 15" also has thicker, tougher and stronger LCD cover with symmetrical stainless hinges which look really strong and durable. To me, 15" looks more robust. Above all, my eyes are more comfortable with 15" 1400x1050 than 14" 1400x1050. It all comes to personal preference...

Thanks for the pics. I was thinking of getting the 15inch, but the size difference is too much, and I like more portability.

I have both the 14.1" T42 and the 15" UXGA T43p. I can tell you that for graphics professionals, the T43p's 15" flexview is far brighter. easier to see from all angles too.
-T43p (2668-H2U) P-M 770 2.13, 2.0GB RAM, 60GB 7200RPM, DVDR, 15" IPS Flexview UXGA, 128MB ATI FIRE GL V3200 (DIED)
-T61 (On it last legs)
-Using a desktop now b/c i can't find a laptop to drive my 2560x1600 monitor.

> He said the standard is 15 inches now.

You believed a SALESMAN!

In a laptop physically bigger is rarely better!
