T43 -266875U - Anyone received

Anyone ordered T43 -266875U and received recently (after 20th)?

When I ordered, I got email saying estimated shipping date as 08/19/2005
but now they shipped only min dock.

I switched my order yesterday and this is the email I recieved from the salesman

1 266875U Estimated Ship Date:
08/18/05

So I would expect it to be somewhat accurate. I hope!

According to the last 3 or 4 people I spoke to in Lenovo Customer Service, the online tracking system has no accuracy, and is being redone. If this really is the case, I don't know why they are leaving it operational.

in the status i see Call 1-866-42-THINK and in more info

Your order has left our fulfillment center. Use the track shipment button for information about the carrier and your tracking number. Your delivery date will be determined by the ship date and the shipping method you
selected at checkout. Actual delivery times may vary.

and they are providing Track shipment track number.

wheni click on the track shipment ...it has a valid tracking number..showing in transit..but it doesn't show anything in the package progress..

I just got my 75u on Tuesday. Mine said 'in transit' for a couple days, until it got to customs in Kentucky. Once it gets there, tracking will be updated, and you'll probably get it about 3 days later. Mine left HK the 23rd, arrived customs the 25th, left at 3am the 26th, and was at my door at 10am the same day.

I called UPS several times to check on the shipping, since I was in a rush to get it before I left for school. You have to get connected to international shipping at UPS since it's coming from HK, but once it reached the US they were able to give me pretty specific times. I would definitely call UPS instead of IBM, though, since IBM doesn't have much control over it once it's shipped.

I called the UPS and find out that the package has been shipped from Honkong today. They did not have any other information about the package.

Based on Jmmmmm experience, I am expecting to receive my notebook on tuesday or wednesday

ya the online thing is way off. i ordered sunday night (7/24) and it shipped thursday night (7/28) meanwhile the online thing always said august 14th. the shipping time isnt bad at all. unfortunately i wont be home the first part of next week. i hope they keep trying to deliver it later on in the week!

I could say a lot, but I think I can sum it all up to say: I love it. It took me a day to get used to it, coming from a dell 5150, but it certainly has lived up to all my (high) expectations.
I even had doubts about how a 2.0ghz p-M compared to my dell's p4 3.1ghz, but I did a little speed test using a program called superpi, and the ibm Blew the dell away.
Built like a tank, very thin and light, great keyboard, fast processor, enough harddrive space, great wifi reception (i'm picking up 7 wireless connections at my apt, where my old comp only picked up 2). The touchpad took me a little getting used to, but I'm finding I really like the trackpoint also. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

I ordered a 75U on July 17th, and it finally shipped on July 28th from Hong Kong. Delivered by July 29th in the morning!
