T42p config help please

I'd like some help here please. I configured three T42p's here but there's a $700 dollar difference between the lowest and highest and the only thing that's different is a CPU speed increase of 0.31 Ghz


T42p-2373HVU (1.8 Ghz)-$3059.00
T42p-2373KYU (2.0 Ghz)-$3309.00
T42p-2373Q2U (2.1 Ghz)-$3759.00

The only other small difference I saw was in the WLAN but thats between the IBM and the intel one which has only a $40 difference. So what I'm getting at is that this huge price difference is alone in the in the CPU speed?- didn't know it'd be so much more.

And additionally, which one do you recommend. I have the option of getting any of the three but it doesnt necessairly mean that the 2.1 is the best. Which do you believe is the best value? Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Oh and I'd also like to add that I can get the EPP discount which places each model at roughly $1900, $2200, $2400 (before tax) respectively. This makes the difference in price more bearable but despite that, whats the best value here? Thanks again.

The 1.8 one is the one I'd go for. Only you can know if you need 15% more Hz.

I guess the 2.0 might have significantly better resale value because of the magic "2", but the 2.1 really isn't worth it IMO.

I think going for the 2Ghz is a good idea too. 2.1 is not worth it. You would need a stopwatch to tell the difference between 2.1 and 2.0. Heck, I don't think you can tell even with T43p's new 2.26 cpu.
