I missed this deal but whoever wants a deal on another model, check the Visa offers website because there are many others that have a 20% discount.

According to IBM/Lenovo these extra-discount prices are errors but apparently are being honored if you order online. Just don't try calling.

1024*768 screen suck. that's why i'm selling my t41 to get this one. any1 who's buying xga is not recommanded.

According to a post on Fatwallet, IBM is now cancelling all Visa/MC/Amex orders that had the 20% discount. Looks like you scored.

Don't think so. The EPP discount is taken from the IBM list price from what I understand.

Correct. EPP is also not eligible for the "free dock" or "free battery" offers. All in all, it's not always the best deal going.. just the longest-lasting.

Did you give me any green there on FW?

I am actually the one who posted the deal but did not get much green. A little disappointed that maybe not many people get this deal because of that.But I am more disappointed that my order is shipped out one day later than yours although I placed the order on Friday, and darnit, now it is held by custom.

btw, my free port replicator II will not get to me till the 9th. it was shipped on aug 1st before lappy left hong kong and taking 4 more days to arrive.

Is that the policy of IBM/Lenovo? Just wondering, because I think I grabbed my T43p during similar "erronous" circumstances.

I canceled a 14" T42/9600 order after receiving an end-of-month estimated ship, and pulled the trigger on the mastercard offering:

2686DGU ThinkPad T43 (Think Express) $1,423.20
512meg free
ac adapter cord.

While it was shown instock in the shoppping cart, the order status says 8/24 online. but the 866-guys says its pretty far along. lets hope!
