I just purchased an identical thinkpad for my brother.

it's a T42 2378-REU

Whoot! now lets just see how long IBM comes and whether I have to call and complaint to try and get a thai keyboard :p

Or you could just keep whatever keyboard ships with the machine.....

no thanks I like the Thai keyboard that shipped with my computer and am pretty well used to it

You can just purchase the keyboard online. They are rather inexpensive, and easy to snap in.

it's nmb .. i'll find it later but there's a thread here with pictures and part numbers of the thai, chinese and other chinese keyboard
