Access Connections can manage your wireless connection instead of Windows:

About the wireless disconnects: I changed the security from WPA -TKIP to WPA2-AES and the problems are gone...( thanks for the tip Flightvector)
( I use the intel 2915 adapter and the WRT54GL with Thibor firmware)

Hello,
i had disconnect issues with a wrt54gs v1.1 and a intel 2100 3b based mini-pci in my x40.
Nothing seemed to help until i figured out that, at least in my case, setting CTS protection to enabled and frame burst to disabled helped:

Maybe I can take 1 annoyance away for some people having trouble with disconnects using AC....
A friend of me can´t get rid of his disconnects but he discovered that version 4.23 Access Connections does not reconnect by itself, he had to do it manually after every drop out.
Version 4.21 at least makes him able to download at night........

I'm one who does networking for a living, almost every small office I go into...Doctors, Dentists, Construction, Tax, you name it I go to it have the good old linksys, usually WRT54G, the percentage of Linksys to Belkin or Linksys to Netgear is not even close, about like Mac to windows. I've seen a couple of linksys routers die, and seen some give up slowly but you can use tools to trace problems right to the router. I have seen some with to high expectations of a standard samll office router, but that has nothing to do with that particular brand.
I too work with a lot of IT and Network Admins and have never heard any seriously negative comments, the only comments I have ever heard like that are on the various forums around the internet that deal strictly with routing and routers, and I could never understand their hatred of the Linksys.

I downloaded the latest version of Intel Pro 2200BG 11.1.0.
The software is downloaded to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLANINT2 and does not contain ACSETUP.EXE at all.
Instruction says: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\WLANINT\ACSETUP.EXE
Of course the exe file is not found.
Any problem known?

I used iProInst.exe from WLANINT2\XP\Apps\x32\ and the program started to remove the older Intel driver (with a warning first). But after a few minutes the program didnt continue (hang up with no disk movement anymore) and I even couldn't terminate iProinst.exe and had to hard-reboot.
Afterwards the Intel Wlan at AC was not available anymore.
Finally I restored my system and everything is in order again (yes, I did a backup before I started iProInst.exe!)
Anyone else with a similar problem?
