Is your new power cord "velcro wrap" SCENTED?

I know this seems personal, but the power cord "velcro wrap" for my new T42 seems to be SCENTED?

...maybe like the fake "new car smell" they spray in some cars? I didn't really 'sniff' my pc stuff, I just noticed after packing up my machine, my hands always had a kind of "scented soap" smell, and could smell it around the wrap. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else noticed the same.

Maybe IBM recycles kinky stuff that doesn't sell and converts it
to powercable velcro wraps.

Makes you wonder.

I've used Hugos Boss on my notebook sleeve...... smells wonderful~~~

No they don't, kinky velcro straps never smell like new cars, they smell of...
