T30 + graphics card in dock

I need to upgrade the graphics in my old T30 to play games.

I see posts from people that have gotten graphics cards to work in a DOCK II with T4x's. But back when my T30 was new, I heard that this wouldn't work. Has anyone anyone gotten a T3x working with an external graphics card in a dock? Thanks.

I have used an IBM T22 Notebook with an 2631 Docking STation. But the problem is, that you have to use an external Monitor..

IBM Recognizes and replaced the graphic card but the notebook display will switch off and you can only use the VGA out of the graphic card.

As you know, 2631 Docking Station has a PCI port, and so you have to find a PCI card to run.

They are only few good and faster than SavageIV graphic cards, which can be installed. For example Nvidia Geforce 5200 or 5600 PCI cards.

I have used it with an 3dfx Voodoo4 4500 PCI card, and Unreal and Quake3 was playable with 3dfx's Glide.

Post here please if you can find a good PCI card solution.

Which resolution has your external monitor? Does it work with 1920 x 1200 (with reasonable speed)?
