T42 - tips for battery? is possible to disable charging?

Hi,

I use my t42 at home and at the office connected to the wall. I eventualy need it to use battery. is possible to disable battery charging by software while laptop is connected to the wall?? I dont want to remove the battery every day and put it on, what are best tips to care your battery life??

I don't know if you can disable it, or even if you would want to. I have read in the following link of some users that set their battery to begin charging at a low level.
