Question about speedstep, MaxiMizer & T22 CPU

#1 Post by Nolonemo » Tue Aug 16, 2005 9:22 am

I have a T22 with a 1GMz CPU (SL53S). Battery MaxiMizer offers Adaptive, Maximum, Slow and Very Slow as CPU speed options in its power schemes. MobileMeter shows the CPU running at 1GHz on maximum, but at 700MHz on both Slow and Very Slow. Is this right? I would have expected Very Slow to be around 500MHz. . . .

Am I missing something?

Thanks

That's the correct speedstep for your CPU.

Set it for Adaptive and forget it.

Thank you James. I guess the Very Slow setting would be for faster CPUs for which a three-step system has been implemented?
