I just bought a referbished T20 direct from IBM, everythiung is running fine except I get the letter "u" stuck - liuke for example trying to type the username for this site I kept getting a "u". This is driving me crazy as you can imagine. Has anybody had this problem before? Is this a "mechanical" problem or a software issue.u I ran the PC Doctor utility and all checked OK. It even happens in the background as I can hear the default chime while I am reading some documentu.
I can't find a patter but I'm inclined to think it has something to do with the trackpointu. I just realized there are several "u" somewhere in this message - I have decided too leave them as an example of what is happening.
This is the TP I got : http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/store ... logId=-840
Any ideas?
Thanks!!!
Stucked letter "u" on T20
Problem Found!!!
I just narrowed down the problem with the stuck "u" keyboard key - looks like the "u" key is super sensitive. Even if I only brush it I get the letter, so sometime when I am using the trackpoint/or typing my fingers brush the "u" key hence the repeating short beeps and popping "u".
So what is the solution here?
Thanks, MJC
