Accessing IBM Bios Setup Utility
Accessing IBM Bios Setup Utility
This may be a stupid stupid question, but I can't figure out how to access the IBM Bios Setup Utility? I just installed a 1 GB ram chip and need to check and see if the system recognizes the correct amount of memory. I accessed "Access IBM" but can't find the Bios Setup Utility.
Bios is accessed during boot... as soon as the machine starts to boot (after entering any bios password) hit the F1 key. It'll then enter the bios menus.
However, simply looking at the configuration of your machine via the "view system information" in the the "My Computer" menu in Windows will be enough to determine that the RAM is recognzed.
