T42 DVD CDR Combo (4242n)

Hey guys, I didn't see anything in the faqs against asking this question:

Is there an RPC1 firmware upgrade to this drive? How do you guys bypass the region lock? I've looked at tdb and only found firmware upgrades to 4141n and 4143n, but not 4242n...
