Heeelp,
I did something but I don't know what exactly but since that, my SXGA+ display will not stretch lower resolution.
e.g : If i play a 1024x768 game, it will appear like a little square in the center of the screen (using effective 1024x768 pixels instead of interpoling and display on the whole screen).
Did someone already experienced that ?

turn it off

1. Right click desktop, choose properties
2. Click "Settings" tab
3. Click "Advanced"
4. Click "Displays" tab
5. Click "Panel" button
6. "Scale image to panel size" -> check to stretch, uncheck to not strech

I have it unchecked myself because it gives me a cool small startup screen when booting and small hibernate screen when ...

I think when I played with display properties under linux, something changed this setting, because i didn't know that this behavior was "tunable".
