T30 Processor Upgrade

#1 Post by Megaman2890 » Mon Aug 22, 2005 1:54 am

I was thinking of replacing the processor in my IBM T30, Model 2366-81U. I was wondering, what is the maximum speed processor I can put in it, and can it be either a desktop version or mobile. Also, can I use a Pentium M processor instead of the P4? And one last thing, What is the fastest speed RAM I can put in it, I have one stick of 256MB PC-2100 RAM and one 512MB PC-2700 stick in for a total of 768MB.

Thanks a lot,
Billy

Max CPU upgrade is a 2.6GHz P4-M.

No, you can't use a desktop CPU nor a PentiumM.

Max RAM is 2GB of either PC2100 or PC2700.
