Is there any way to download the thinkpad configuration utility, I have looked all over the IBM web site and can't find what I am looking for. Can you pull individual drivers off the recovery CDs.

I don't think you can pull individual drivers off the recovery CD, but you can download them.

Use the software installer program, it can install and update your drivers and Thinkpad software:

Thanks a lot, I'll give that a try. Just gotta mention that I grew up in San Rafael, not far from the city by the bay. Army brought me here.
