another nicely equipped August 2005 model is the 2668-J2U, with an 80gb 7200rpm drive, 2.13 processor, 1gig RAM, Fingerprint reader, and bluetooth. pricing before any discounts is around $2600, so I'm assuming EPP is in the $1700-$2000 range - still not a bad price for those specs.

Ok I'll try that... if I can get a T43 without the fan problem then I'll be set.

Does anyone know whats the deal with teh CTO models such as 2687E9U. The Lenovo rep. said that they are barebones and are built only when someone places an order.
