Broken t42 base

#1 Post by morffius » Sun Aug 28, 2005 4:59 pm

I have a T42 2378-FVU and my brother dropped it on the bottom left corner, and now that corner ( IR side) is broken. The plastic is cracked and it seems like the metal part of the corner inside is broken as well. Where can i find a guide to take off the bottom? and should I but a replacement under.. or call IBM with a warranty claim?

Download the HMM (Hardware Maintenance Manual) for your thinkpad. It'll teach you everything.

Perhaps someone here could provide a link?
