Hey all. So I posted earlier today saying that my fingerprint reader was taking an abnormally long time to register my swipes (whether they were good or bad, it wouldn't say). So someone told me to check if any processes were taking up memory during the fingerprint login.
So when the comp started up, I bypassed the Fingerprint stage (Crtl+Alt+Del) and typed in my password, got in, opened taskmanager and the following program was had a CPU rating of 85 to 50.
EZEJMNAP.EXE
It is filed as "STS" which is my computer name (don't ask

) so I don't think its system critical. Would someone be kind enough as to let me know what this program is, does, and if its advisable to stop it from running during startup? I don't recall it being listed in my "Selective Startup" menu (the one I can use to control what starts at bootup). So I'm not even sure how to stop it. Hopefully this also helps other people who have had problems with their fingerprint readers "laggin" in registering swipes. Thanks and good day!
Note: I am not POSITIVE that this is the culprit so if anyone figured out another way that worked in stopping the "lag", please let us know.
Hopefully most in Katrina's path, thoughts are with those people.
