White Screen Blotches

I have a Thinkpad T23 (2647) and these white blotches are appearing on the screen. The pixel's aren't stuck on one color, nor are they just dead. It's just that some are brighter and you really only see it on grey or white backgrounds.

So i'm wondering if theres a way to fix this?

They are pressure marks- to fix it you need to replace the LCD with a new one.
