T42 shut down problem with SMax4PNP.exe

Has anyone experienced shut down problem with SMax4PNP.exe? Every time I shut down my T42, it says SMax4PNP.exe is not responding so that I have to manually end this program. It's so annoying. I know this file is related to SoundMax and it is not spyware or virus. Does anyone have idea to solve this problem?

Mine does the same thing sometimes. But not everytime. I have no idea what happens before that causes it to frieze. Another EXE also friezes, I'm not sure about the name but I think it's part of the wireless software.
