motion video is not showing in DVI output (T40)

Hi,

I'm a new to HDTV Monitors. I have a T40 and a port replicator. I connected the DVI cable from port replicator to the HDTV monitor and after a reboot of T40, I can see the windows desktop on the HDTV monitor as well as laptop's LCD. However, motion video (playing in Nero or WinDVD or Windows Media), is showing up in only on the laptop and not on the HDTV monitor. This window (Nero, etc) shows up blank on HDTV monitor.

I'd appreciate if someone can provide guidance on how to see motion video on HDTV montor as well.

I believe that is a video subsystem limitation - would have to be designed to process both to be able to display both at the same time.

You 'should' be able to get the video on the HDTV (only) by a> using Presentation Director or b> making the 2nd display the primary in Display Properties
