t43 clock resetting?

bought t43 end of july, recieved it early august, love it.


however, recently when ive taken it out of hibernation, i notice that the system clock is 3 hours off (or not on the right setting).



on desktops i know this means the cmos battery needs to be replaced.



does that mean the same thing on my thinkpad?

Have you got the clock in the correct time zone? 3 hours difference sounds suspicious, because all TP clock in EST are off 3 hours on delivery (because they default to Pacific time). ... JD Hurst
