I have a T43 266874U and yesterday was the first time I tried to install something using a cd. The drive was extremely noisy and there was a pronounced vibration which seem to disappear by pressing on the frame above the cd-drive. Is this normal? Can I fix it by tightening some screws and adjusting the settings in the power menu?
Thanks
Nick

I have a t42 and on some cd's it does vibrate excessively. If yours does it on all cd's you might want to call tech support. I attribute the intermittant vibration to cd's that might not be perfectly manufactrued or slightly bent. At the speed they are turning even being out of balance a tiny bit will cause vibration.
