So i just bought a "Dock II" off e-bay for my 2668-C2U
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1
I recieved it today but it didn't come with a power cord. Though on the bottom it says type 2877 like it should, i can't find the model number (10U) anywhere on the machine. In communication with the seller, he admitted the listing was incorrect and it should have been 287710U not 297710U. Is there another way I can verify what I got?
I've already e-mailed the seller requesting the missing power cord. On the off-chance I don't end up getting the cable does any one know where I can order one from? Does Bill have them?
Am I right that the power supply is inside the dock so it's just a power cord I'm missing?
Any help or comfort would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
The power supply is inside the dock, yes. I would try to get the seller to send you the cable (if he can find it). If not, then you can buy one for less than $10.00 here (Enter 75H8989 in the form)
http://www-132.ibm.com/webapp/wcs/store ... &langId=-1
The part number you are looking for (I'm pretty sure) is 75H8989.
Please verify this is the correct part number for your Dock II by downloading the HMM for the Dock II from IBM (if there is one, otherwise there should be some other specs document for the Dock II).
You still got a nice deal for a Dock II. The main thing is that you need to get a cable ASAP, so that you can verify that the dock works. If it doesn't work, then you can complaint with eBay, but time is of the essence.
Much luck to you.
