t43 value

#1 Post by jsklar » Sun Sep 11, 2005 11:32 pm

i'm not posting this in the sales section because im not selling it for sure yet...
but just out of curiosity, how much could i get for a t43 2668-c2u with the modem board replaced to add bluetooth?

the specs are listed in my sig. plus i have an extra 6cell battery and a dock-ii that i may sell separately. the thinkpad is about 2 months old and really good shape.

any thoughts on its value?

Why are you selling? Seems bizarre after all the trouble you've gone to...

i'm not selling it...at the moment. i'm just trying to get an idea as to how much it's worth. the only reason i do sell it is so that i could get an x41 because while my t43 is great, something even lighter and easier to carry around would be a hell of a lot nicer.

Should have done your homework before buying the T43 then.... :?

You'll lose a lot of money if you sold it. The T43 is perfectly acceptable for lugging around and you lose too much functionality and features with the X series.

That's my opinion anyway.....

I'm according to steve. The x serie is more little/light but you lose a lot (perf, lcd size/resolution, keyboard, touchpad,...)

on ebay you are taking your chances..
so add value for dealing with someone here, with many good posts, than an ebay stranger..
