Tests To Run on New T42p

OK, I have been a faithful reader of this forum for awhile now, and it is because of that I have decided to continue to remain faithful to ThinkPads. However, I am not as sharp as I wish I was when it comes to a lot of the specifics...which a number of you speak fluently.

Could someone please recommend system tests to run on my new T42p? I've read about the pixel test, etc., but wanted to be sure that I didn't miss any.

If you want to test system stability, Prime95 is a good test. You can find it here: http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm

3DMark2001SE and 3DMark2003 are rough indicators of 3D gaming performance. http://www.futuremark.com
