T22 weird problem.

Hello all
I have a thinkpad T22 2647-M5U 512 ram 900MHz XPpro

Weird problem is that when I shut it down, it dosen't turn on until i unplug the AC and re-plug it back in.

and sometimes the track-point works, and sometimes it dosen't.

can any one help?

Kept reading this post over and could not figure out what sounded familiar about it. I had a 380ED a few years ago, took it on a call one day and plugged it in at customers site, (battery would last about 30 mins 10 with a CD so I plugged it in a lot) unfortunately one of their problems was bad power at the outlet. This was the beginning of the end for my power supply. It was about $70 or $30 US, can't remember, I replaced it and it worked fine. Sold it to a friend and he still uses it.
Did not have the track point problem though so use this as a possibility for troubleshooting.
