Using T30 battery with a T23 laptop

my laptop battery is dying in my T23 laptop and i need to buy a new one. I'm planning to put in a T30 battery because of it's higher capacity. I was wondering a couple things...
-Does the T30 battery fit perfectly into a T23 laptop?
-for people who already have a T30 battery in their T23, how long does the battery last on average?

The T30 battery might not fit the T23. The design might look the same.....but when when you really examine carefully, its not.

Yes, a T30 battery will fit a T23. I was getting almost 2.5-3 hours when the battery was new. The rubber footing on the bottom is slightly different though.
