Can I upgrade my Hard Drive on my T43?

#1 Post by Hans Gruber » Thu Sep 29, 2005 11:37 pm

In the future, I plan to upgrade my T43's tiny 40gb hard drive to a 100gb 7200rpm drive. Can I have 2 hard drives connected at the same time and transfer all the contents of the 40gb drive to the new 100+gb 7200rpm drive?

I'm planning for the future. After upgrading the hard drive, I plan to use dynamite to destroy the 40gb version. One can never be too careful protecting personal data...

Why not buy an enclosure and use it as a portable USB 2.0 HDD....

There is software and cables that will clone everything from your 40gb drive to your new 100gb drive.

I do understand that the new 100gb drives are hard to come by.
