Help! External Numpad

#1 Post by KuDabuTa » Fri Sep 30, 2005 10:52 pm

Help....

Ok... this is the scenario. I have purchased a new Numeric Pad for my T42. Problem is, when I press the numlock on the numeric Pad, it locks the Numeric Pad on the Keyboard. That means, I could not have a full keyboard layout AND a numeric pad at the same time. Very frustrating....

So .... is it possible to disable the numeric pad on the keyboard? Otherwise, this will beat the purpose of having an external NumPad.

Thanka a million....

Check if the keypad comes with a driver. Some keypads need a driver to function independently of the keyboard, eventhough it appears to be "plug-and-play".
