Also, is it possible to change the video card? If so, to which model?...

Thanks!

You will not notice any performance change unless you get to a 2.0GHz chip or higher. The price on eBay for those puppies is ~$250, so I'm not sure it is worth the trouble (voiding warranty when you open the case, etc.)

The video is NOT upgradeable. It is soldered to the motherboard.

Durability?

#6 Post by vliou » Thu Jan 12, 2006 10:14 am

Is there any difference durability wise between the T43 and the T42?

I figure since i dislike the T60 and don't need it (expensive), i COULD upgrade to a T43...

t42 = t43 they are both bulet proof as far as i know

some claim t43's fans are loud but who cares
42 < 43 that mean t43 has more stuff in it !!!! (evolution theory)

The most noticeable performance upgrade you can make would be to a 7200RPM Hard drive. You will notice that a lot more than a 2.0GHz Dothan.
