modem not working after bluetooth card install

I have a new t42 laptop in which i installed a bluetooth modem card. the model of my laptop is 2379-r1u. Bluetooth seems to work but not the modem. the driver did not install. I installed a t41 driver (agere'97) and the modem still does not work. Which driver do I install

Did you install the bluetooth / modem card or the bluetooth only card?
It seems to me that you may have just installed the bluetooth only card.

how can I tell? the card had 2 jacks. one for the bluetooth antenna and the other I assumed was for the modem?
