Acronis True Image 9 successfully cloned T43p HDD!

#1 Post by jlingo » Sun Oct 02, 2005 10:08 am

I would like to thank you to this forum for suggesting me using Acronis to clone my harddrive. It works flawlessly with Thinkpad T43p.

I used to use ghost to clone my Acer Travelmate 800 HDD. But it failed to clone my Thinkpad T43p. Acronis solved my problem. I'm a happy man.

I think I don't have to use Rescue and Recovery anymore to do backup. Acronis seems to be able to handle the job very well.

Anybody agree?

In my feeling, Acronics True Image is too slow to finish whole back-up of HDD, Please tell me how many minutes(or hours) it took to finish back-up work?

I didn't really stopwatch the time yet. But I will next time.
In my opinion it's faster than the ghost. it takes less than 1 hour I'm pretty sure of that. But I will time it next time. I clone the disk under DOS which I find a lot faster than under windows.
