Closing lid switches to dual display

Hello,

I have an annoying problem with my T43 that I hope someone here can help me solve.

Each time I close the lid of my T43 and reopen it, the display switches to dual (LCD + external) and it takes the laptop a few seconds to do so (not to mention I need to switch back manually every time).

I thought the problem is with the Presentation Director so I deleted all the profiles and eventually uninstalled it completely but it didn't help. I also updated all the drivers and software. In Power Options, the action for "when I close the lid" is set to "Do Nothing".

Any ideas?

i have the same problem, although technically it's not switch to dual (i use dual with the screen open).

when i close the lid, the external display is set to primary.

so i think that's the problem. and it also seems to play around with the wireless too
