I would appreciate if other T40 users have experienced the following problem.
I connect the T40 with my Ipaq 3970 pocketpc 2003 through the Microsoft bluetooth stack that comes with Windows XP SP2. If I turn off bluetooth either using Fn+F5 or through the Access Connections software and then turn bluetooth on again, I can no longer connect with the pocket pc. The pocket pc gets stuck at "Connecting to Host." If I want to reconnect to the pocket pc, I need to reboot the T40.
I suspect that the problem lies with the bluetooth stack on the T40.

don't use the MS bluetooth stack. use the ibm one. after you install the latest stack from the drivers page, then go to your porperties ---- device manager ----hardware click on the bluetooth and right click on generic bluetooth. now select update driver and say that you want to "install from a specifc location" then select "don't search. i'll choose..." and now select the correct IBM bt stack and not the MS stack. after this reboot your computer and you should be back in business.

Thanks for the suggestion to use the IBM bluetooth drivers.
I want to first determine if the problem that I am having is a Microsoft driver problem or not.
