i just upgraded my T42, and now i have this red bluetooth icon.
i believe that is the ibm version of the bluetooth drivers. (am i wrong?)
however, the light blue with white logo bluetooth icon shows up as well. (i believe these are the microsoft drivers)
i tried directing the bluetooth drivers to the 'unsigned' bluetooth drivers which are the ibm drivers...but i have none on my computer. (this was taking from the ibm help pages)
what did other people do?
also... when i press Fn+F5 my wireless option to turn the modem off or on is gone....
this all happened when i updated my laptop using the handy dandy levono updater...
RED bluetooth icon
fixed the bluetooth issue...
and now the weird fn+f5 no wireless optoin fix:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... t=wireless
i haven't tried it...but it seems allot of people had it when they upgraded their access connections.
