Hi,
I was just looking at the screen of my T41p and I started wondering about the present status of the TFT technology - that is with regard to quality and appearance.
If I set up a white background and turn the backlight all the way up, the screen is not 100% super white all over the area. Its almost there, but not quite - I remember it used to be a lot worse on the previous notebooks that i owned.
Also, what about dead and stuck pixels? - I have none on my T41p, but is this still a common problem. The other Thinkpads at the office also seems to be perfect in this area.
The last issue is the backlight. I remember that it used to be visible near the edges on my previous machines, but on my T41p its not visible. Is this also the result of the "evolution".
What is your experiences with the above issue?
