T43: Anyone with light spill on left edge of screen?

When I look at the 15" screen at an angle from the right side, I notice small patches of light emitting from the left edge of the screen, resulting in the left edge of the screen to be brighter (obvious only on a dark screen). Comparatively, for the other 3 edges (top, right and bottom), I don't notice any light source. In fact, when I depress lightly on the left edge, the screen goes brighter. The other 3 edges are much more sturdy; no light spill even when I depress them.

Is that the norm?
