I have a 2373-GVU on order and have heard from at least one person that the GVU (and I assume all 14" T42p's) run hotter than a standard 14" T42.
has any one out there compared a 14" T42 to a 14" T42p? I'll be using this thing on my lap and I'm trying to protect my 'kids'!
Are 14" T42p's hotter than 14" T42's? GVU on order
Well, I have the T42 GVU and I can say that mine runs really cool when running at 600 mhz. It does warm up quite a bit when running at full power, but I haven't had it on my lap at those times as I have it set to run slow when on battery power.
