Did you just sell the old hd on ebay or keep it incase needed?

I typically sell all my old compoents on ebay but would it be a good idea to keep this?

If you sell it, be sure you wipe it clean as best you can and I don't mean by simply deleting things or formatting it as that can easily be recovered...use something to overwrite the ENTIRE drive like 'Eraser':

use an USB external HDD enclosure, like Vantec Nextstar, works very well.

I gave mine away. It was only 20GB. Too small to sell on e-bay and of no use to me. I have a 60GB in my T23 now. I also have a 40GB drive that is 2.5" and a 120GB standard USB/FW external HD as well.

It went in friends compaq armada. He has a PII 400 and a 6GB HD. Atleast he can install XP now and have some room left for apps, docs, and swap.
