Greetings all
My T23 may have bit the dust.
I try to boot and get beeps 1-3-3-1
IBM support says its 1 DIMM, 2 System board
Forum entries seem to point to the need for a new mother board.
Where should I buy one?
Is it worth the repair?
I have regular full backups saved to CD
If I can get it to boot one last time, what should I do?
I am not afraid of doing the repairs my self
I just want my TP back (or a new one!)
Thanks to all
Rich J

Never turn it off. Seriously though, I'd remove the RAM, it may be a factor, if I could get one more boot, I'd run PC Dr. HD fitness, look in event viewer, defrag, return to factory, AV scan, everthing. Usually my first inclination is if I could get a good reboot is to reboot again, it would be hard not to do that and run all those tests.
