DVD burner

Hey I was wondering if this could be made to work with a T22

Probably, but this one is much better for only a few dollars more (NEC ND6650, faster and supports dual-layers and both + and - formats):

You just need to remove the back connector and the side rails from your existing drive and put it on the new drive. You will also have to cut a notch in the lower right corner of the faceplate to fit it in the ultrabay slot.

If you want a slot loader, I think there is a pioneer drive (DVR-K05?) that is also better than this Panasonic one.

The burn specs on the Panny are pathetic (-R burns at 2x in this day and age?!). Spend an extra $8 and get the NEC from Newegg (may be less because Newegg shipping is only $4).
